In 'Architect' Steve Stennett takes the reader into a technologically advanced dystopian universe where man and technology are no longer clearly delineated. A trans-galactic chase is underway and the reader is lead on a disorientating journey.

Most impressive is the author's description of the technology of this bleak future universe. Sometimes, no detail is too much, creating a heady sense of being overwhelmed by jargon. As a layman, I found myself, at times, confused by the accounts of interactions of software, programmes and hardware, adorning humans, androids, planets and spacecraft. Yet, though alienating, I found the information overload to be a strangely effective way of writing about a futuristic universe.

I got the sense it wasn't just me that was disorientated, so was the humanity of the story, having been hi-jacked by technological advances and society desolated as a result. The idea of two beings assualting each other with computer viruses, for example, is an example of the writer forcing us to consider where technology is taking the race.

If you approach "Architect" with an open-mind, there is much to admire and learn from an ambitious and different type of science fiction novel.

A friend recommended this book to me. I wasn't too sure about it as I don't read much sci-fi, but I'm really glad I gave it a go. The world that Stennett creates here is fascinating - and at times quite frightening. It certainly gave me a lot to think about. I will definitely be reading more sci-fi from now on.

This is not as easy as I thought it was going to be.

This is not as easy as I thought it was going to be. Working full time with all the commitments this entails leaves me very little time to write and blogging seems such a distant memory as I attempt to juggle my life. I have slotted in a couple minutes to post this. I have received a new review for 'Architect S Stennett' on Amazon Uk, it’s a four out of five with some helpful feedback. Check it out, tell me your opinion on comma usage, you will know what I mean when you get there. I really would like to know what people think about this topic!!!

My second day at attempting to be a regular blogger and a serious author!

Architect my first serious novel is an idea that I have had knocking around for a decade or so.
I’m forty plus so I have four behind me. It sounds more grandiose when I say it like that!
Anyway, not losing focus, on my mission of bring to masses my book, I will try not to ramble.
The concept is simple an android with Asimov three laws ingrained with her perfectly sculptured physic, falls in love with an emotional tortured human, who has been altered at an early age to become  cyber Borg solider then a corporate assassin.
They come together and find that they have so much in common and they want to be together.
Now this is the stage where I should explain that the best way to find out more is to go to amazon or Kobo and check it out, if you find this short introduction interesting - plug out of the way - I will now continue without have to sell the book - sorry has to be done in some part of the blog if I am going to be the next best thing in sci fi!
What do you think, will the future have android partners if you can purchase specify how they look and behave, will it be a legitimate relationship or just somebody’s lazy wet dream.
Tell me what you think!

Another review to wet your appetite.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Adventure!, January 22, 2013

Architect

This is the story of an android named Russell. He is a hit man. However, with the constant advancement of science and technology, Russell has become obsolete and will soon be facing termination. He has a different idea of what his future should be and so begins an incredible and exciting journey with many surprises, lots of action and even the stirrings of loyalty and love.

I was captivated by this book from the very first page and could not put it down. It is excellently written and clear enjoyment.

Another day another attempt at get my book out there!

Would it ever be respectable, to have a Synthetic as a partner, an android created to be a companion, confidant, and lover! Would it be taboo, frowned upon! Could it ever be respectable! Could true love manifest its self?
What do you think! An Asimov, three-lawed programmed, perfectly formed, male or female, mate for life! Is it possible?
I am creating a love story; its science fiction based but a love story never the less.
I love tech but emotions drive me, so a futuristic new breed of love story is what I am trying to create. It’s the two parts of me, romantic love story set in the distant future.
Does it make any sense, am I on the right track!
I was just wondering if you had the time if you could review my book, Architect by S Stennett on Amazon kindle and also Kobo, looking for some feedback.

It’s time to get serious and get on with the job of being a successful writer!

Hi this is my first real blog.

I have written my first book Architect S R Stennett on Amazon Kindle and Kobo.

Its science fiction base around an Android Natural Born relationship.

With so many authors and books being published I believe that its appropriate that I invest some time and effort to engage any potential readership, so here goes - read my book-!!!

Nah not really, if only it could be that simple.

Hopefully I have created something different, hard technologically wrapped around a love story propelled by high adventure, not your standard science fiction fare!

In the next series of blogs I want to introduce you to the future that I have created, sub-light engines, cold sleep technology and first contact of an alien species.  My idea is to interact with my readership in a partnership that will steer me through the creative process of being an author.

So here goes.

Read my book!

I will do better than that on my next blog.

Promise!
