Ready Player OneReady Player One by Ernest Cline
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I had a blast reading this, the eighties was definitely my decade, it turned into one serious trip down memory lane for me!

The majority of the story takes place in cyber space, making the whole thing feel a little bit transcendental.

(Remember 1986 when Bobby Ewing came back from the dead. It was all a dream!!!!!!! Remember!!!!!)

That dose not mean that your actions have no consequence, cyber space we discover can be just as deadly as the real world.

If your up for a bit of nostalgia, or your to young, and just want get a flavor for the Eighties. Then strap on the 'Rocket Mans,' jet pack from the 1984 LA Olympics, and get ready for a rip roaring ride 'Back to the future.'

If you would rather drive then I am sure Marty Mcfly will lend you his Delorean!!!!

  1. Cool review. But I think the title of your blog would be better if it was Android? Human! That's just my personal opinion, though. I prefer Harrison Ford's thoughts on Blade Runner. :)

    1. I see what you mean about Android Human, but for me Humans deserve the exclamation mark for the amount of crap they have ended up doing to other human beings and the planet.

Don't get me wrong I am not a hemp wearing Hippy or anything. No offense intended, some of my best friends are the later.

For me Androids deserved the question mark, because we just don't know what they might do.

I am hopeful that Androids will end up being better at being human!

Which shouldn't involve them striving for power and money and all the vices that consume us, I am not saying that I think they will be saints.

I am just hopping they will be better than us!!!!!
